IT Administrator – Exhibition & Events

The Talented Agency is currently recruiting an experienced IT Administrator to support the launch and daily operations of a high profile immersive exhibition experience in Dubai.
This role is ideal for someone hands on, solutions focused, and confident managing live event technology in fast paced environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring all exhibition systems, ticketing technology, AV equipment, and network infrastructure operate smoothly throughout daily operations.
This is not a traditional office IT role. We are looking for someone proactive, calm under pressure, and comfortable troubleshooting in a live visitor environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and maintain exhibition hardware and software systems
- Manage media servers, AV equipment, POS systems, and ticketing devices
- Provide on site technical support during operational hours
- Troubleshoot Wi Fi and network connectivity issues
- Support staff with handheld devices, audio systems, and headsets
- Identify and resolve technical faults quickly and efficiently
- Coordinate with external suppliers or vendors when escalation is required
- Assist with exhibition opening setup, testing, and operational readiness
- Monitor systems daily to minimise downtime and disruptions
- Fast paced immersive exhibition environment
- Full time rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Long term project based role (12–15 months)
- Immediate onboarding and training before launch period
- Must hold your own valid UAE working visa
- Must have your own medical insurance
- Police clearance required
- Previous experience in exhibition, events, entertainment, or hospitality IT support
- Strong understanding of AV systems, media servers, POS systems, and networking
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in live environments
- Familiar with Wi Fi, routers, connectivity, and device management
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability
- Calm under pressure and able to react quickly to technical issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Fluent or conversational English preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
