IT Team Leader

As KuKu’s IT Lead is an equity based position, you will oversee and coordinate all technical operations related to the app and website, manage external development teams, ensure smooth functionality of the platform, and help drive future upgrades and AI integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a future CTO / Head of Technology position within a fast-growing startup environment.

• Manage communication and execution with third-party app & web developers
• Monitor platform performance, updates, bug fixes, and feature rollouts
• Ensure all technical work aligns with KuKu’s business goals and user experience standards
• Coordinate integrations including payments, logistics, analytics, notifications, and other third-party services
• Test and review new features before deployment
• Help prioritize and organize future tech development phases
• Research and implement AI-powered features and automation opportunities
• Maintain technical documentation and workflow organization
• Act as KuKu’s primary internal technology lead

AI & Tech Skills Preferred

• Understanding of AI tools, APIs, and automation platforms
• Interest in using AI to improve e-commerce user experience and operational efficiency
• Ability to identify opportunities for automation and scalable tech solutions

• Computer Science / IT background (senior students & recent graduates welcome)
• Strong understanding of app/web technologies and technical workflows
• Passion for startups, AI, innovation, and scaling digital products
• Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to take ownership and work independently
