Job Title: IP Core Network Engineer (NOC Resident)

Experience

Required:

5+ years (mandatory)

Work Mode: Resident / On-site at ISP/Carrier Customer Premises

Experience Requirement

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in:

• ISP/Core Network Operations
• IP/MPLS Networks
• Telecom Network Delivery & Maintenance

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack
• Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching technologies
• Hands‑on experience with:
• OSPF
• ISIS
• BGP / MP‑BGP
• MPLS VPN
• SR‑MPLS
• SRv6
• EVPN / L3
  
  VPN
• Strong experience in IP Core and ISP backbone network design and implementation
• Strong hands‑on experience with Huawei carrier datacom devices including:
• Experience with service migration, network optimization, and troubleshooting in live telecom environments
• Experience working in ISP, telecom operator, carrier, or large‑scale backbone environments

Preferred Skills

• HCIP/HCIE Datacom certification
• Experience with multi‑vendor environments (Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, Nokia)
• Knowledge of IP‑RAN, backbone, and transport networks
• Experience with NMS platforms such as U2000 or NCE
• Experience with network automation or scripting is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ISP network project delivery, including network design, implementation, expansion, service migration, and network optimization
• Perform network maintenance, troubleshooting, service integration, performance monitoring, and network audits
• Ensure network safety and compliance with customer and internal operational procedures
• Support IP Core and ISP backbone operational activities
• Handle major incident troubleshooting, escalation support, and service recovery
• Perform configuration, migration, and optimization activities on Huawei carrier‑grade routers and switches
• Conduct network analysis, capacity planning, and traffic optimization
• Prepare and execute MOPs, HLDs, LLDs, PATs, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams during migration and maintenance activities
• Support network expansion and modernization initiatives

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
