- Lead and collaborate with innovation specialists, peer group innovation managers, and other IT and business stakeholder groups, contributing towards finalising future initiatives, utilising business value, together with assessment of available capacity and indicative level of effort arising from the team landscape resulting in effectively sequenced and prioritised backlogs.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to ensure the overall backlogs are balanced; a scalable and stable technology product that continually meets business needs with NFRs (Non‑Functional Requirements) and system enablers considered and captured, and cascaded to team backlogs.
- Define methodology for the analysis and response to target metrics and value, including recommended improvements for use during design workshops, with an overall goal of driving increased use and adoption.
- Build a peer‑group robotics and future technologies community, identifying and acting upon opportunities for L&D, growth and advancement; while supporting the team in the establishment of their community and identity, offering support and suggestions for their growth journey.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within technical and team boundaries, ensuring identification and contribution of risks and dependencies, and ensuring appropriate team backlogs reflect any impact.
- Work with innovation team members to identify and capture team‑driven innovation ideas, consolidating across the peer group for playback to stakeholders.
- Partner with applicable product vendors to evaluate technologies and solutions through proofs of concept.
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in mechatronics with 8+ years’ experience in a product‑facing capacity.
- Experience building, delivering, and supporting robotics, AI and automation systems including hardware or software robotics.
- 3 to 5 years practical experience as a project manager with a proven record of driving discernible ideation, change, and delivery.
- Experience working within an Agile environment across multiple initiatives and around 50+ teams (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, able to enthusiastically convey Product Vision to stakeholders and influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
- Leads by example and demonstrates appetite and ability to grow to a senior leadership position.
- Positive attitude and capacity to drive discernible change and delivery at pace in a pressurised environment.
