Looking for a Data & Artificial Intelligence professional to work on the strategic development of machine learning technologies to transform business processes. The role focuses on advancing the bank’s capabilities in machine learning (mandatory SAS EG) along with Python, Dataiku and Databricks, overseeing the development and implementation of machine learning solutions tailored to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Key Accountabilities- Drive the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities through the application of advanced machine learning techniques.
- Oversee the data analytics lifecycle, from data preprocessing and modeling to implementation and performance monitoring, ensuring adherence to technical and timeline specifications.
- Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build, maintain, and improve multiple decision systems, design experiments and test business hypotheses.
- Champion the integration of machine learning technologies (SAS mandatory as well as Python intermediate) and methodologies into existing and future business operations.
- Facilitate the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of deployed solutions, ensuring they deliver consistent value and adapt to new business needs or data insights.
- Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve business problems using analytics and communicate results and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; additional degree or certifications in data science/analytics preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field using SAS EG 8.3 or above, SAS Viya, and Python.
- Advanced proficiency in SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Miner, and Python.
- Hands‑on experience with Dataiku Production platform.
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks and AWS an advantage.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and AI principles and techniques.
- Expertise in cloud technologies and architectures for machine learning development, with hands‑on experience in SAS, Azure Databricks, and Dataiku.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and provide practical solutions that align with business strategies.
- Certifications in SAS or Dataiku would be an advantage.
Contract Duration: 3 months, extendable
