Job Description:Our client, a leading diversified group headquartered in Dubai, is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead a group of companies' overall technology, AI integration, and digital transformation strategy
. This role involves overseeing the entire IT landscape while driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across all business units transforming traditional operations into smart, data-driven ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement the groups technology roadmap
, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Lead the enterprise-wide adoption of AI (Artificial Intelligence) to optimise processes, improve productivity, and deliver competitive advantage.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, ERP integrations, and automation of workflows.
- Evaluate, select, and implement AI platforms, tools, and frameworks to meet sector-specific demands across education, healthcare, construction, oil & gas, and retail.
- Oversee the cybersecurity framework
, ensuring full data protection and regulatory compliance. - Manage budgets, technology investments, vendor relationships, and digital risk assessments.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of developers, system engineers, cybersecurity experts, and AI specialists
.
Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and digital-first thinking throughout the organisation.
- Report directly to the CEO on all technology and AI implementation KPIs.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership
, including 3 to5 years at C-level. - Proven track record of implementing AI solutions, machine learning models
, and digital platforms in complex environments. - Expertise in cloud computing, enterprise systems, data analytics
, and cybersecurity. - Strong understanding of AI tools
, frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, OpenAI, Azure AI), and automation strategies
. - Ability to lead multi-sector digital strategy and align artificial intelligence capabilities with business outcomes
. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
