Senior DevSecOps Engineer: Cloud Security & Compliance

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls throughout the Dev Ops pipeline including code repositories, CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure utilising best practices for security, scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security testing tools and processes seamlessly.
• Design and implement security automation for continuous monitoring, alerting and response in cloud.
• Coordinate remediation efforts and track progress to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
• Implement security controls and monitoring solutions to protect cloud environments from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure components identifying and remedying any security gaps or compliance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enforce security best practices.
• Work closely with operations teams to optimise cloud resource utilisation and performance, minimising costs and improving efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g. PCI DSS, GDPR) and regulatory requirements specific to the banking sector.
• Provide guidance and training to development and operations teams on secure coding practices, threat detection and incident response.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Shell scripting) for automation and integration purposes.
• Demonstrate experience with security monitoring tools (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP) and vulnerability management tools.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

58 years of experience as a Dev Sec Ops  Engineer with a strong focus on security operations within banking or financial services.

Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert, Google Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer) are a plus.

Salary AED 20,000 to AED 25,000.
