The Senior Manager - AI Security Product Owner is a senior delivery position within Deeplight consultancy, embedded directly within a major banking client. This role functions as the strategic owner of the AI security product lifecycle, defining the roadmap, feature requirements, and delivery schedules for tools and frameworks designed to protect the bank's AI/ML ecosystem. Serving as the primary interface between technical security squads and business units, this position requires a balance of Agile product management expertise, technical AI security knowledge, and the professional diplomacy necessary to align senior stakeholders within a Tier 1 financial institution.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
- Defining, maintaining, and executing the long-term vision and product roadmap for the bank's AI security tools, platforms, and capabilities
- Translating complex AI security requirements into functional user stories, maintaining a prioritized product backlog that balances technical debt with business utility
- Leading cross-functional engineering and data science squads through Agile sprints, ensuring clear definition of done and timely delivery of features
- Coordinating closely with senior business leaders, risk officers, and technical engineering leads to ensure product features meet commercial objectives and security requirements
- Driving the internal onboarding and adoption of AI security products across the bank's broader development, data science, and security teams
- Representing Deeplight on the ground by modelling exceptional delivery standards, technical integrity, and proactive problem-solving for the client
