Senior Manager, Sales Engineering

Job Description

is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The role focuses on providing technical leadership and guidance to clients in the MENA region throughout the sales lifecycle. The Sales Engineer will own the technical relationship from initial contact through solutioning, integration, and go‑live stages, delivering tailored solutions and collaborating with internal technology and business teams.

• Conduct upfront qualification of merchant technical needs and infrastructure.
• Work with Sales to provide product/business/tech knowledge supporting pre‑sales activities.
• Prepare and lead technical and commercial workshops for prospective merchants.
• Provide critical technical and solution design inputs for high‑value proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Produce and improve solution design documentation for complex solutions.
• Improve communication with merchants on a technical level during the sales process.
• Translate product, business, and technical requirements into concrete, viable, and efficient solution designs.
• Maintain deep industry expertise to deliver best‑in‑class bespoke solutions.

• 8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Pre‑Sales Consultant.
• Technical client‑facing experience.
• Knowledge of API based integration methods, best practices, and related tools/frameworks.
• Experience with at least one common front‑end (JavaScript, React, Angular) and back‑end (Java, .NET, Python, Node) technology.
• Commercially‑minded, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to translate technical jargon into business speak.
• Previous exposure to RFI/RFP.
• Strong knowledge of payments industry, technicalities, rules, regulations and schemes.
