JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform a variety of technology project and program management functions for the organization. Projects and Programs are varied in size, nature, complexity, and often involve coordination and oversight of resources across organizations.
- Manages large scale projects and/or programs and associated resources.
- Creates and administers project and/or program plan and determines scope and deliverables.
- Identifies resources needed, assembles project/program team, assigns individual responsibilities.
- Oversees and recommends options for one or more highly complex enterprise-wide portfolios consisting of multiple projects.
- Gathers, synthesizes and presents requested information to establish standards and report discrepancies.
- Performs project/program management functions for Global Technology and Operations, coordination of resources (people and technology) across the organization.
- Responsible for identification and resolution of project interdependencies, integration, and collision concerns.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to business leadership regarding IT services and capabilities, aligning infrastructure, business, and application strategies.
- Provides leadership and guidance by incorporating business initiatives and needs into formal account plans, capturing feedback and managing performance metrics.
- Enables agile teams to deliver maximum business value by aligning teams focused on modernizing and delivering technology products.
- Proactively eliminates barriers, protects team from external interferences, and facilitates team meetings to ensure delivery on the sprint goals.
- Supports cross functional team for Sprint and Release Planning, fosters team self-awareness, encourages cross-training, decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Helps teams become high-performing teams.
- Proficient knowledge of project/program management practices, principles, concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of technology concepts and software development life cycle methodologies.
- Advanced written and verbal communication.
- Advanced leadership and negotiation.
- Proficient managing offshore teams and/or vendors.
- Advanced financial acumen.
- 8+ years of experience, 6+ years of experience in leading people/Projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent.
- Project management and ADM MP and/or PMP certification highly desirable.
- Advanced ADM experience is a must.
- Strong applications development and support background.
