Business Director - Communications Consultancy
Overview
The Business Director is a senior leadership role responsible for end to end stewardship of client relationships within the Publicis Groupe ecosystem. The role requires deep understanding of how a modern holding company operates across multiple agencies, verticals, and specialist capabilities while ensuring seamless, integrated delivery to clients. This role leads the creation and growth of the Customer Analytics & Insights function.
It is a transformational, entrepreneurial position responsible for embedding a data‑driven culture, building governance, setting processes, and coordinating analytics across business units.
Key responsibilities include deploying modern data infrastructure and tools, ensuring data governance, and developing advanced analytics models. The role generates insights across customer segmentation, forecasting, churn prediction, campaign performance, inventory optimization, and customer lifetime value, supporting major functions across Retail, Marketing, Loyalty, Customer Engagement, and Digital. Strong emphasis is placed on presenting insights through compelling data storytelling for senior leadership. The position acts as a central partner to executive stakeholders, internal cross‑functional teams, and external vendors.
It also focuses heavily on team leadership, recruiting and nurturing analytics talent, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience:
extensive experience (15+ years) in analytics, loyalty, big data, and AI. Technical skills: SQL, Python, R, BI tools, Dataiku. Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities. Arabic is required. This role is based in Abu Dhabi for a 12 month contract.
