Key Responsibilities
- Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing, effective negotiations, and TCO analysis.
- Monitor and improve IT procurement KPIs such as procurement cycle time, cost avoidance, and compliance levels through data‑driven insights and reporting.
- Ensure timely renewal of AMCs, AMS contracts, and software licenses through effective contract lifecycle planning and vendor coordination.
- Support IT budgeting and planning by providing accurate spend forecasts and procurement analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, standardization, and process automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, audit requirements, and information security standards.
- Manage vendor escalations effectively, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
- Prepare and present procurement performance reports and MIS dashboards to management.
- Continuously identify and implement cost optimization, value improvement initiatives, and cost avoidance within IT procurement.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT Procurement and internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Units), ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Translate business requirements into effective sourcing strategies and procurement actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, OEMs, and service providers, supporting long‑term value creation.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, warranties, and contractual obligations, ensuring accountability and compliance.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract awards.
- Manage procurement across IT categories (infrastructure, networking, end‑user computing, cybersecurity solutions, enterprise software).
- Support procurement of cloud services and subscription‑based models, with an understanding of consumption‑based pricing structures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in collaboration with legal and IT teams, ensuring risk mitigation and commercial effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
- Support team members in daily procurement operations, fostering a team‑oriented environment and promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Promote accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement in all procurement activities.
- Contribute to implementation of best practices in IT procurement, sourcing, and vendor governance.
- Support procurement automation and IT digital transformation initiatives, including effective use of ERP and procurement tools.
- Benchmark vendor pricing, contract terms, and procurement practices to identify improvement opportunities and enhance competitiveness.
- Ensure timely procurement of IT products and services applying to TCO.
- Improve end‑user satisfaction and system adoption rates.
- IT procurement process improvement, procurement optimization, consolidation.
- Continuous process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT product & service procurements.
- Knowledge and relationships with key IT principal vendors, distributors, resellers, and in the region.
- Proven track record in managing complex IT procurement cycles, contracts, and vendor management, including procurement optimization & consolidation.
- Strong exposure to IT contracts and agreement drafting, including AMC/AMS and SLA‑based contracts.
- Knowledge and application of procurement frameworks such as Kraljic Matrix and Mendelow Matrix for vendor and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in P2P tools is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and adept at driving continuous process improvements.
- University degree or equivalent.
