Responsibilities
Leading and managing cross-functional development teams developers QA BAs Implementing Agile methodologies and development best practices Establishing governance around tools processes and delivery frameworks Supporting cloud hosting and Dev Ops operations AWS Azure Driving technical delivery for ongoing feature development and client deployments Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of 15 20 engineers QA professionals and business analysts Conduct performance reviews set development goals and drive meaningful career growth initiatives Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement Recruit onboard and scale the engineering team as the company grows Lead Agile Scrum delivery sprint planning backlog grooming retrospectives and standups Establish and enforce SDLC best practices and code review standards Introduce and manage project management tooling JIRA Azure Dev Ops Confluence or equivalent Implement version control workflows Git and CI CD pipelines that keep releases smooth and predictable Ensure on-time delivery of features aligned with the product roadmap and client commitments Provide architectural guidance on design patterns technology stack decisions and platform scalability Support and optimize cloud hosting environments AWS Azure deployment monitoring cost control and security Oversee Dev Ops practices containerization Docker orchestration Kubernetes basics and automated deployments Ensure system reliability performance and compliance across a mission-critical healthcare platform Partner with Product to translate business requirements into well-scoped technical deliverables Communicate project status risks and dependencies clearly to executive leadership Support client-facing activities technical demos integration planning and post-deployment support Contribute to long-term technology strategy and platform evolution planning
Qualifications- Experienced in healthcare, insurance, or TPA domains
- Deep hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum including sprint-based delivery in production environments
- Full-stack technical background (backend + frontend) with credibility to guide architectural decisions
- Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) including CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and deployment
- Modern development stacks: .NET / Java / Node.js (backend), React / Angular / Vue.js (frontend)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and SQL/No
SQL database design - Experience with Dev Ops tooling:
Git, Jenkins / Git Lab CI, Docker, Kubernetes (basics), Terraform (a plus) - Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and integration patterns for claims, prior auth, or member portals
- Strong people management skills: coaching, conflict resolution, performance management
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset; comfortable with ambiguity
- Healthcare/TPA domain expertise including health insurance platforms, claims processing systems, member portals, or digital health apps
- Familiarity with regional healthcare regulations (DOH/DHA compliance, local insurance market dynamics)
- Scrum Master or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
- Experience with Oracle-based systems, healthcare analytics platforms, or fraud detection workflows
