External - Client Application Engineer- Health Information Systems; m​/f​/x

Key Responsibilities

• Work with U.S. and global development teams to architect and develop solutions that meet Middle East clients’ business and technical expectations.
• Act as a liaison between local teams and Application Engineering and Core Development teams located in the U.S. and worldwide.
• Identify, track, and communicate gaps in the product portfolio and delivery requirements to product development teams to satisfy local market needs.
• Coordinate with global product, implementation, and engineering teams throughout the product life cycle to articulate customer requirements and create delivery materials and training.
• Provide deep technical product knowledge support to internal and external stakeholders and support marketing in the development of customer case studies and technical white papers.
• Create compelling commercial and technical documentation that illustrates Solventum’s value proposition and competitive advantage specific to Middle East solutions and client needs.
• Document the proposed solution, business benefits, technical integration, deployment, and sustainment needs, including the project implementation plan.
• Work with local teams to complete client reviews related to AI, security, and project intake to support sales or client relationship needs.
• Partner with local Middle East team resources to transition leads into fully developed opportunities, including creating detailed Statements of Work and other sales materials that become part of the contractual agreement with the end customer.
• Support the sales team to meet sales objectives for Solventum Health Information System solutions in the Middle East Region.
• Design, implement, and manage deployments that meet local client regulations and requirements, including designing multi‑tier architectures and managing implementation procedures.
• Provide engineering and technical support for deployments throughout the lifecycle of the solution.
• Support and manage the presales and RFP processes, including writing and compiling commercial responses and coordinating RFP activities and response documents with local team members.
• Engage with customers by creating and delivering product demonstrations, including product overviews and customer evaluations.

• Five or more years’ experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions in hyperconverged, virtual, and cloud environments that integrate data center technologies, management and security software, and exceed application performance SLAs.
• Ability to interpret technical needs and communicate them to clients and internal resources of varying technical skill levels.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing completion in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with relevant experience in the healthcare software industry working in delivery or support roles.
• Experience supporting clinical or revenue‑cycle solutions in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Functional and working understanding of health care interoperability and data flow, including HL‑7 v2.x, FHIR, OAuth, and related technologies.
• Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, interpersonal, business acumen, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional client relationship skills with the ability to find creative solutions and manage difficult situations with diplomacy.

Up to 50% global and domestic travel, including travel to the U.S. and other locations for alignment with local teams and key opportunities, as approved. Primary work location is the Middle East, Dubai.
