As a Senior Technical Architect, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting Service Now solutions for your clients. You will also contribute to the development of internal IP, mentor junior resources, and provide expert guidance to customers, ensuring effective integrations and alignment with business objectives.
Job Overview and PurposeAs a Senior Technical Architect you will work closely with clients to design and implement scalable Service Now solutions, act as a trusted advisor. The role involves analyzing client requirements, estimating project tasks, and leading implementations while ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Service Now solutions.
- Gather and analyze client requirements to propose effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain Service Now applications, configurations, and workflows.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance before moving solutions to production.
- Ensure compliance with Service Now best practices and coding standards.
- Automate processes and improve system performance through optimization.
- Implement and maintain integrations between Service Now and third‑party applications using APIs, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Perform technical assessments for new plugins, features, and configurations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
- Support Service Now upgrades, patching, and release management cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in client environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful solution adoption.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams and clients.
- Stay up‑to‑date with Service Now advancements and emerging technologies.
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field.
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
Service Now
Certifications:
Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred).
6–8 years of hands‑on Service Now experience across multiple modules, such as:
- ITSM (IT Service Management)
- ITOM (IT Operations Management)
- CSM (Customer Service Management)
- TSM (Telecom Service Management)
- HR Service Delivery
- ITBM (IT Business Management)
- Service Portal & Mobile Development
- Integration Hub & API integrations
Experience in designing, configuring, and developing Service Now applications and integrations.
Strong understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
