Senior Manager, eDiscovery and Forensics

Are you an experienced technology and investigations professional, with experience in leading and supporting digital forensics, eDiscovery, and investigative technology operations? This role will oversee the full lifecycle of investigative technology platforms, including system evaluation, implementation, optimisation, data management, and ongoing improvements. You will play a key role in driving technology transformation, AI adoption and advanced analytical tools to improve efficiencies.

Your core expertise should be in the investigation cycle, change management, policies and processes, reporting and ongoing support and guidance to educate IT and non-IT professionals. You will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder management, project coordination, and investigative support experience.

• Manage and oversee investigative technology platforms and digital forensic tools across their full lifecycle.
• Lead technology enhancement initiatives, including research, benchmarking, vendor evaluations, implementation, and upgrades.
• Assess existing systems to ensure ongoing suitability, efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technology vendors and external service providers.
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies including AI, automation, analytics, and data visualisation solutions.
• Collaborate with cyber security, legal, risk, and digital transformation teams.
• Oversee data collection, processing, indexing, filtering, duplication, analytics, and secure archiving activities.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable data protection and retention standards.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures for data and case management processes.
• Monitor technology usage, licensing, and operational costs, providing reporting and recommendations for optimisation.
• Design and deliver training programs on investigative technologies and digital review platforms.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to users on forensic and eDiscovery tools.
• Promote best practices and efficient investigation methodologies across teams.
• Produce analytical reports, dashboards, and management information to support operational activities.

• Minimum 8 years of experience within digital forensics, eDiscovery, investigative technology, data analytics, or a related technology-focused role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with in financial services, consulting, investigations, or professional services is highly advantageous.
• Hands‑on experience with a range of investigative and analytics tools such as Relativity, Nuix, Reveal, Power BI, SQL, Azure and AI‑enabled productivity and analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of digital investigations, data management, and forensic technology processes.
• Knowledge of cloud‑based and structured data environments.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail with strong governance and risk awareness.
• Experience supporting or driving technology transformation initiatives is preferred.
