Mid-Level Microsoft SQL Server DBA
My client is looking for a Mid‑Level Microsoft SQL Server DBA with 4‑6 years of production experience to manage performance, availability, security, and reliability of database systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure SQL Server (Standalone, Failover Cluster, Availability Groups)
- Apply upgrades, patches, and manage version control
- Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity
- Perform backups, restores, and recovery testing
- Troubleshoot issues and support incident resolution
- Collaborate with developers on stored procedures, triggers, and standards
- Manage releases across dev, test, and production environments
- Automate routine tasks and maintain documentation
- Provide support to application teams and participate in on‑call rotation
- 4‑6 years of SQL Server DBA experience (production support)
- Experience with SSRS and SSIS
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2019/2022 and virtualization
- Strong understanding of High Availability and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Excel, SSRS, or PowerBI
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
