We are looking for a talented MSc or PhD candidate to join us in 2025/2026 for an internship focused on the development of state‑of‑the‑art language, vision, and multimodal foundation models. The intern will work on open‑source LLMs and multimodal models, implement these models in real‑world scenarios, and continuously optimize a distributed training framework across thousands of multi‑node GPUs.

• Research and develop state‑of‑the‑art large language models and multimodality models to accelerate open‑source progress.
• Implement large‑model applications in our business scenarios, including pre‑training, supervised fine‑tuning, post‑training, and inference.
• Continuously optimize the training framework to better adapt to large‑model training on thousands of multi‑node GPUs.
• Collaborate with broader teams across Tether to advance the development of open‑source LLM, vision, and multimodal foundation models and products.

• MSc or PhD candidate in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Research experience in at least one of the following areas: large language models, computer vision, or multimodality.
• Proficient with the PyTorch deep‑learning framework and libraries.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, logical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Publications in top AI conferences (e.g., ACL, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, IJCV) is a plus.
