We have partnered with a major omnichannel organisation to appoint a Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO).

This is a critical executive role accountable for leading a large-scale transformation that will redefine how the organisation operates, engages customers, and delivers digital experiences. The business is integrating all customer touchpoints, modernising legacy platforms, and embedding data, AI, engineering, and product thinking into every part of the organisation. The CPTO will drive this transformation end to end.

About the role

You will own the entire product and technology vision for the organisation. This includes defining the long-term architecture, shaping the product strategy, and ensuring that engineering, product, data, CRM, and digital teams all operate as a single, integrated function.

A core focus will be maximising the value of Salesforce across sales, service, and marketing, while unifying mobile, web, eCommerce, and contact centre experiences into a seamless omnichannel ecosystem. You will also lead the adoption of AI across customer engagement, operations, and automation to drive measurable value and efficiency.

You will manage internal product and engineering teams, set the operating model, oversee large, outsourced development partners, act as the executive sponsor for digital and customer technology across the business.

About you
  • Proven experience operating at CPTO, CTO, CPO, or equivalent senior leadership level
  • Strong background leading both Product and Technology functions at scale
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce driven environments and enterprise customer platforms
  • Significant experience managing engineering, product, UX, CRM, and digital delivery teams
  • Track record driving AI adoption and embedding data led decision making across an organisation
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel operations across mobile, web, contact centre, and eCommerce
  • Experienced in modernising legacy estates while building future ready digital capabilities
  • Able to influence C level and board stakeholders and lead complex enterprise wide change
  • Comfortable building high performing teams and managing large scale outsourced partners
