Position Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead the advancement and oversight of Business Intelligence solutions within our Automotive division, focusing on KPI dashboards and tracking methodologies. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping and optimizing our business intelligence infrastructure to drive informed decision‑making and operational efficiency.
- Translating business needs into comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
- Leading efforts in master data management and governance, ETL development, and dashboard creation and upkeep.
- Driving enhancements in data management procedures across AFG technology ecosystems.
- Conduct gap analysis to facilitate the transition of data platforms from SAP BW to MS Azure, addressing master and transactional data migration alongside reporting needs.
- Gather requirements and create reports and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI.
- Oversee and implement changes necessary to rectify master data discrepancies as per business approval.
- Coordinate and monitor IT department calls to expedite issue resolution.
- Engage in projects and initiatives spanning various functional domains and geographical regions.
- Uphold data quality, compliance, and coherence across business systems.
- Develop or guide the development of a communication strategy to ensure project stakeholders and team members are adequately informed about project progress and deviations from critical paths.
- At least 5 years of pertinent experience in Business Intelligence technologies, encompassing ETL processes and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 and SAP IS Auto (experience with S4/HANA is a plus).
- Strong understanding of data management systems at a professional level.
- Practical expertise with ETL tools, demonstrating hands‑on experience.
Our team operates within a fast‑paced and diverse environment, with direct reporting lines to the Project Manager.
Qualifications for the Role- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in BI technologies, including ETL processes and dashboard development (proficiency in Tableau and Power BI is advantageous).
- Previous experience in master data management.
- Proficiency in reviewing systems and processes.
- Extensive background in data analysis.
- Experience conducting user training.
- Team management experience.
Experience in system migration projects.
- Professional expertise in data management systems.
- Proficiency in SAP R/3 and SAP IS Auto (knowledge of S4/HANA is advantageous).
- Proficient in the MS Office suite.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools (preferably Alteryx).
- Familiarity with MS Azure data platforms.
- Analytical mindset and methodical problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to investigate topics spanning multiple business areas.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Efficient prioritization skills with timely progress updates to stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with various Dealer Management Systems is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred experience in the Automotive industry.
