Job Description: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and deliver top-tier technical support to our users. As the first line of IT customer support
, you will handle requests through phone, email, and chat, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for end-users, providing technical support via phone, email, or chat.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems using remote tools to deliver real-time solutions.

  • Accurately log and update support requests in the ticketing system to ensure visibility, performance tracking, and knowledge sharing.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff with detailed information to support faster resolutions.

  • Conduct follow-ups with users to confirm resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, installing required software, and offering basic training.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory, including hardware and software tracking, to support availability and compliance.

  • Promote best practices in IT security and educate users on safe computing habits to reduce risk.

  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights on recurring issues and recommending improvements to support workflows.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance support quality and recommend system enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support
    , helpdesk
    , or a similar IT customer support role.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively in dynamic, high-paced environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS platforms.

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in simple terms.

  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to thorough issue resolution.

  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
