Head of AI Strategy and Data Transformation

We seek a Head of AI Strategy and Data Transformation to join Al-Futtaim Automotive. This critical leadership role drives the implementation of our Data and AI Strategy while ensuring seamless adoption of data-driven solutions across all business lines. By fostering a data-driven decision-making culture and managing strategic AI initiatives, you will help shape the future of Al-Futtaim Automotive.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Implementation: Drive the execution of the Data and AI Strategy, promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Managing Directors, senior leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of data and AI solutions into business processes.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams of data scientists, data engineers, and business analysts to deliver strategic AI and data analytics projects.
• Data Management: Oversee all data engineering, modeling, governance, and reporting initiatives for Al-Futtaim Automotive.
• Goal Achievement: Work closely with the Chief Data Officer to set and achieve business goals, evaluating progress regularly.
• Resource Coordination: Ensure the timely availability of all project dependencies, such as data, computational resources, software licenses, and access rights.
• Policy Alignment: Uphold corporate policies, strategic goals, and ethical standards as defined by Al-Futtaim Automotive and the Data Office.
• Cultural Transformation: Champion adopting data-driven practices by organizing workshops, providing strategic insights, and leading change management initiatives.
• Skills and Expertise:
• Proven Experience: Over 10 years of experience leading large-scale Data and AI Transformation projects for large corporations.
• Consulting Background: Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and managerial skills, ideally with experience in a consulting role.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP, Data Engineering, Feature Engineering, Data Modeling, ETL, Big Data, Data Architecture, Metadata Management, and AI Change Management.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Deep Learning is essential.
• Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.

You will lead a team of skilled professionals, including Senior Managers specializing in Data Engineering, Enterprise Analytics, Reporting, Data Governance, and AI Strategy. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, accurate models and fostering data-driven decision-making across all business lines.
