Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, pain points, and success criteria
• Design solution approaches and service scopes aligned to customer requirements and delivery realities
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, product/service walkthroughs, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• Support sales with technical qualification, objection handling, and solution positioning
• Produce technical content for proposals and RFPs, including architecture diagrams and solution narratives
• Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers

• 2–4+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Engineering role within cybersecurity
• Strong fundamentals in networking, endpoints, identity, cloud basics, and security logging/monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value

• Hands‑on exposure to SIEM/XDR/EDR, SOC operations, vulnerability management, or incident response
• Experience with IAM/PAM, cloud security, network security, or DLP/DSPM
• Experience responding to RFPs and creating customer‑facing solution documentation
• Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CCNA, or cloud provider certifications (AWS/Azure)
