Senior Cyber Security Engineer – Overview

Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing IT, Operational Technology, and Cyber Security systems for large-scale rail projects, ensuring secure integration and compliance.

• Establish and lead a Cybersecurity team, manage data protection and privacy programs, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and international standards.
• Design, implement, and secure network infrastructure and cybersecurity in manufacturing environments, requiring strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity controls, monitor threats, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with standards in industrial systems.
• Monitor security environment, triage SIEM alerts, coordinate incident response, and generate threat intelligence reports.
• Manage continuous security validation, threat intelligence, and findings aggregation while leading cybersecurity initiatives with expertise in offensive security and compliance.
• Coordinate with planning specialists, create technical systems, provide smart solutions, requiring advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Manage cybersecurity delivery across multiple work streams, ensuring compliance and security, while leading teams and implementing risk management strategies.
• Lead cybersecurity engineering by designing security architectures, implementing solutions, and guiding teams while ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking, utilizing Qualys and certifications such as CISSP or Certified Ethical Hacker.
• Automate patch deployment, security remediation, and CI/CD integration, requiring experience in cloud security and vulnerability management.
• Support information security operations and digital risk management, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations while enhancing security awareness and risk assessment.
• Implement cybersecurity controls, manage network infrastructure, perform vulnerability assessments, and support cybersecurity projects with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Administer and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensure network security, troubleshoot issues, and support IT projects with strong networking knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions; conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing; respond to cybersecurity incidents and provide incident analysis.
• Design and maintain network infrastructure, manage servers, implement cybersecurity practices, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring secure IT systems.
• Lead cybersecurity design and implementation for operational technology environments, ensuring compliance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination with strong OT expertise.

• Document requirements, oversee SAP implementations, drive change management, and ensure compliance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement security controls, manage devices, conduct assessments, respond to incidents, and configure cloud security tools.
• Assist in implementing data protection policies, conduct compliance testing, promote data security awareness, manage vendor contracts, and train staff.
• Implement and manage PCI compliance strategies, conduct audits, ensure security controls, and provide training while possessing strong knowledge in information security and risk management.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, NIST).
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, familiarity with SIEM, antivirus, firewall, endpoint security, malware, and common cyber threats.
• Experience with PCI compliance strategies, audits, and training.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
