Cloud Security and Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud network architectures including VPC VNet design, segmentation, routing, DNS, ingress, egress, and hybrid connectivity.
• Engineer and operate secure connectivity solutions such as site‑to‑site VPNs, Direct Connect, Express Route, and transit routing.
• Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, network security groups, WAF, and DDoS protections.
• Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure‑as‑code tools and reusable modules.
• Improve reliability, availability, and maintainability through resilient designs across regions and availability zones.
• Support capacity planning, performance optimization, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with cloud platform, security, and application teams through Git‑based workflows and structured design reviews.

• Strong experience in cloud networking within AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of routing concepts, network security principles, and API‑driven automation.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud‑native networking services.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues in production environments.

• Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset for network reliability and security.
• Proactively collaborates across teams and communicates complex concepts clearly.
• Operates with discipline in change management and peer review processes.
• Maintains a continuous improvement mindset focused on automation and standardization.
