Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security & Dev Ops Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing and securing scalable cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud environments, Dev Sec Ops practices, automation, and security engineering, with a proven track record of building resilient, compliant and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement and manage secure cloud architectures across AWS environments.
- Lead Dev Sec Ops initiatives that integrate security across CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Architect and deploy automated security solutions (SOAR, SIEM integrations) for threat detection and remediation.
- Manage IAM, PAM, and identity federation systems, including AWS IAM Identity Center and third‑party IdPs.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Lab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Implement incident‑response frameworks and automate remediation workflows using Lambda, Step Functions, and other AWS services.
- Ensure cloud compliance and governance aligned with NIST, CIS, and FedRAMP standards.
- Manage and secure containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Oversee vulnerability management and endpoint security with Crowd Strike, Qualys, Wiz, etc.
- Design and implement disaster recovery and business‑continuity strategies across multi‑region architectures.
- Monitor systems with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Secure networking architecture including VPCs, VPNs, Transit Gateway, and Private Link.
- Automate operational and security processes using Python, Bash, and Power Shell scripting.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate cross‑functionally with Dev Ops, Security, and Engineering teams.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (security, networking, compute).
- Experience with Azure or multi‑cloud environments.
- Expertise in CI/CD, Git Ops, and automation pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM (Splunk), SOAR, EDR, CSPM tools.
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, KMS, secrets management, and network security.
- Infrastructure & automation proficiency with Terraform, Cloud Formation, and Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Power Shell.
- Monitoring & operations experience with logging, monitoring, alerting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
- Experience with FedRAMP, NIST, CIS compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/ML security practices.
