SAP Vehicle Sales & Service Support Specialist

Role
Purpose:
Support and optimize SAP processes for Vehicle Sales, After Sales Service, and Workshop Operations. Act as the key point of contact for end users to ensure smooth daily operations, resolve issues, and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Support the complete vehicle sales cycle in SAP – Quotation, Sales Order, Delivery, Invoicing. Maintain Vehicle Master Data, pricing conditions, accessories, and sales bundles. Coordinate with Sales team for configuration changes and new product setups.
Support service operations: create/manage service orders, job cards, time entry, and service billing in SAP. Monitor workshop capacity, technician allocation, and service scheduling to optimize utilization. Handle warranty claims processing and post-warranty service billing.
Track and follow up on customer complaints through closure in SAP. Provide L1/L2 support to end users for SAP IS-Auto Dealer Business Management modules. Coordinate with SAP basis support team for technical issues and ensure SLA adherence.
Conduct end user training on new SAP processes, transactions, and updates. Create and maintain job manuals, SOPs, and knowledge base articles. Support UAT and post-go-live activities for SAP enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
Education
:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in SAP IS-Auto, SAP DVM or SAP S/4
HANA for Automotive. - Solid understanding of automotive business processes – vehicle sales, workshop service operations, warranty, spare parts.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP master data – vehicle master, material master, pricing, customer master.
- Knowledge of service order management, job cards, capacity planning and service billing.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to liaise between Sales, Service, Workshop, and IT.
- Ability to train non‑technical users and create simple user documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving and multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced dealership environment.
- Customer‑focused approach for complaint handling and resolution.
- Experience working with automotive dealerships or OEMs in UAE/GCC.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for sales and service teams.
- Basic understanding of integration between SAP and DMS tools.
