HPC and Storage Technology Consultant

The HPC and Storage Technology Consultant role is onsite, primarily working from an HPE partner customer office. The consultant will provide technical consulting to external customers and internal project teams, focusing on HPC solutions and associated storage technologies.

• Support and deliver high‑end HPC solutions for customers, including both hardware and software for massively parallel (MPP) supercomputer systems, clusters, and storage systems on a 24×7 basis.
• Work under minimal supervision as part of a team of HPC experts.
• Support the pre‑sales team in scoping and sizing HPC services when required.
• Manage day‑to‑day HPC support and maintenance activity as the dedicated account site in UAE‑Abu Dhabi.
• Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with appropriate level of autonomy and coordinate with L2 and L3 support.
• Collaborate with team members, other internal organizations, customers, and third parties (e.g., DDN, Red Hat, CoolIT, Nvidia).
• Maintain and develop HPC skills through required training; remain willing to learn new HPC technologies such as Cray EX, liquid‑cooled systems, and NVL‑72.
• Act as an advocate for customers and their teams, managing verbal and written communication.

• Minimum 3–4 years of related service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Knowledge in High Performance Computing technologies and/or enterprise‑level storage systems and/or HPC applications.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience with HPC hardware support or related industries is advantageous.
• Experienced in day‑to‑day operation, hardware break‑fix, and administration of HPC systems at the client site.
• Advanced customer service and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the United Arab Emirates.
