Responsibilities
This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating business needs into KPIs and data models, and developing complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation. The analyst will design interactive dashboards, perform data analysis to identify trends, and ensure data accuracy through validation and quality frameworks. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and supporting financial and operational reporting are key aspects of the role.
CoreResponsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements using structured formats such as data dictionaries and business glossaries.
- Translate business needs into KPIs, data models, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Design and build interactive dashboards using PowerBI or similar tools.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in BI / Data Analytics / Business Analysis.
- Strong SQL expertise (joins, aggregations, performance tuning) – mandatory.
- Advanced PowerBI skills (DAX, data modelling, dashboarding).
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
