Job Overview
Here’s your chance to step into the role of Broadcast Technician for Arabian Radio Network part of Dubai Holding Entertainment. You’ll play a critical role in supporting and maintaining ARN’s broadcast and technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless transmission and high-quality on-air performance across platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and ensure uptime of radio and social broadcast infrastructure
- Provide technical support and training to On‑Air teams
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across all ARN departments
- Monitor and maintain broadcast equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Repair and replace faulty components at a detailed level
- Support installation and maintenance of studio, transmission, and network systems
- Ensure studios and technical areas are safe, clean, and fully operational
- Carry out general operational tasks and support Broadcast & Technology initiatives
- Work in a 24/7 shift environment and handle high‑pressure situations effectively
- Diploma/Degree in Sound, Transmission, or Electronics (Media Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a radio or broadcast environment
- Experience working in a tapeless broadcast facility
- Strong technical knowledge of broadcast systems including automation, transmitters, and networks
- Familiarity with equipment such as Analog/Digital Mixers, AOIP, microphones, OB setups, broadcast cameras, video mixers, and audio processors
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, live broadcast environment
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
