An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Oracle ERP & Financial Systems to work onsite at a client site in Dubai, UAE. This senior-level position requires five to eight years of professional business analysis experience, including recent ownership of enterprise financial systems and Oracle ERP initiatives.

The Senior Business Analyst will lead end-to-end requirements gathering, business process analysis and design, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, data analysis, and User Acceptance Testing for enterprise financial applications. The role serves as a critical bridge between finance business teams, technology stakeholders, and external vendors, translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable documentation and driving process optimization across Oracle ERP and related financial systems.

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and documentation for enterprise financial applications and Oracle ERP modules.
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability documentation.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and re-engineering.
• Model as-is and to-be business processes using structured business process modeling methodologies.
• Work closely with finance, business, technology, and external vendor stakeholders to gather, validate, and finalize requirements.
• Secure stakeholder reviews, approvals, and formal sign-offs for business and functional requirements.
• Coordinate project delivery activities with external vendors while monitoring scope, timelines, deliverable quality, and dependencies.
• Perform data analysis to validate business requirements and reconcile financial data across enterprise systems.
• Use SQL and Excel-based analysis for data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and problem investigation.
• Support Oracle ERP modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
• Analyze system integrations, interfaces, and ERP data flows to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Identify and resolve complex business challenges through structured problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and negotiation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing planning and execution.
• Develop UAT test scenarios and support defect identification, prioritization, triage, and resolution.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication between finance teams, technology teams, implementation partners, and external vendors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization across financial applications.

• Five to eight years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• Recent senior-level ownership of financial systems or Oracle ERP initiatives.
• Hands-on functional experience with Oracle ERP modules.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL).
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with Fixed Assets and Procurement modules.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and traceability.
• Strong experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and related functional documentation.
• Experience in business process modeling and business process re-engineering.
• Knowledge of BPMN and as-is/to-be process mapping.
• Strong data analysis capabilities using SQL and Excel.
