TANINT Recruitment is seeking an experienced BI Engineer / Power BI Specialist to support a major healthcare data transformation initiative in the UAE. This role combines advanced dashboard development, enterprise reporting modernization, and clinical analytics, helping to deliver executive-grade business intelligence solutions that support operational, regulatory, and clinical decision-making.

As a BI Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming healthcare reporting capabilities by migrating legacy reporting solutions into a modern, governed Power BI environment. Working closely with Analytics Engineers, clinical stakeholders, business leaders, and program teams, you will design and develop high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions that support Jawda KPIs and broader healthcare performance initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, advanced DAX, reporting optimization, and data visualization best practices.

You will consume Gold-layer data models and create scalable, executive-ready reporting solutions that support both operational reporting and self-service analytics. • Design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Build and maintain dashboards supporting Jawda KPIs and healthcare performance management.
• Develop intuitive, user-friendly, and executive-ready reporting experiences.
• Migrate hospital and primary-care reports from legacy systems and Excel-based processes into Power BI.
• Consume and optimize Gold-layer star schemas provided by Analytics Engineering teams.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations to support complex reporting requirements.
• Create scalable and governed datasets supporting self-service analytics initiatives.
• Validate reporting accuracy through SQL-based data verification and quality checks.
• Implement data visualization best practices to improve business insights and user adoption.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and technology stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Support release validation, testing, documentation, and ongoing reporting enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, reporting standards, and security requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and reporting solutions.
• Expert-level experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong expertise with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced DAX development and optimization skills.
• Experience using Power BI Report Builder.
• Strong understanding of star-schema data modeling techniques.
• Expertise in relationship management and semantic model design.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation, troubleshooting, and analysis.
• Proven experience migrating complex legacy reporting environments into Power BI.
• Strong dashboard design, UX/UI, and data visualization capabilities.
• Experience delivering high-performance executive and operational reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and business communication skills.

• Healthcare analytics and healthcare reporting experience.
• Experience supporting hospital and primary-care performance reporting.
• Exposure to Abu Dhabi Government or Jawda KPI frameworks.
• Experience enabling governed self-service BI environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance and reporting standards.
