Senior QA Engineer Web & Mobile Testing

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join a technology team in Dubai, contributing to the quality of enterprise-level eCommerce solutions for the airline and travel industry
.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across both manual and automated testing
, with particular expertise in Selenium Web Driver and testing web and mobile applications.

You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, developing automated test scripts, validating software releases, managing defects, and working closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and customers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  .
• Implement and execute QA strategies for eCommerce websites and mobile applications
  .
• Participate in requirements and specification reviews to ensure software testability
  .
• Establish and maintain traceability between business requirements and test cases
  .
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver or similar automation tools
  .
• Prepare and manage required test environments and test data
  .
• Execute functional, regression, UI, and integration testing
  .
• Validate software releases and provide informed Go/No-Go recommendations
  .
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Maintain and continuously improve the regression test repository
  .
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with customers.
• Communicate testing progress, quality risks, defects, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
  , or a related engineering discipline.
• +5 years of strong professional experience in Software Quality Assurance
  , ideally at Senior QA Engineer level.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Test Planning
• Functional Testing
• UI Testing
• Regression Testing
• Test Automation
• Mandatory: hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver
  .
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
  .
• Knowledge of HTML and XML
  .
• Basic SQL knowledge, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server
  .
• Experience with Source Control Management tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
  .
• Fluent English
  , both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• High level of ownership, accountability, proactivity, and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with QTP/UFT
  .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in the airline, travel, or eCommerce domain
  .
• Arabic is a plus
