Position Summary

• KBC Technologies is seeking an experienced ETL Developer for an exciting 6-month extendable contract opportunity based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
• This contract position requires a skilled data integration professional with comprehensive knowledge of Informatica ETL development concepts, tools, and processes.
• You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust extract/transform/load solutions, data mapping processes, and data quality initiatives.

• As an ETL Developer at KBC Technologies, your core responsibilities encompass end-to-end data integration design, custom ETL development, data mapping, and repository administration.
• You will estimate data integration projects, coordinate release management timelines, and ensure successful deployment of extract/transform/load solutions.
• Your daily engineering duties include conducting data mapping, designing and developing ETL processes using Informatica and custom ETL tools, and writing complex SQL queries against relational databases.
• You will implement Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms and data quality initiatives as integral components of the overall ETL architecture design.
• Supporting software upgrades, software documentation, research of new software versions, backup and recovery operations, and technical support forms a vital part of your daily workflow.
• You will manage ETL Repository administration, including the promotion of software packages to appropriate environments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Maintaining meticulous data integration documentation, repository logs, and operational runbooks ensures robust system governance and audit readiness.

• Design, develop, test, and implement robust extract/transform/load (ETL) solutions using Informatica and custom tools.
• Conduct detailed data mapping, schema design, and complex data transformation logic.
• Estimate data integration project scopes and work diligently towards release management timelines.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and database routines across enterprise RDBMS platforms.
• Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks and comprehensive data quality initiatives.
• Manage ETL Repository administration, package promotions across environments, and version control.
• Support software upgrades, technical documentation, backup/recovery operations, and software version research.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and provide expert technical support.
• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional analytics, database administration, and software engineering teams.
• Maintain up-to-date ETL specifications, repository logs, and operational runbooks.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong, proven practical knowledge of Informatica ETL development concepts, tools, and processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and complex SQL writing.
