General Overview
We are hiring a Broker Relations Officer (Medical) for our client to manage and strengthen relationships with health insurance brokers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for broker partners, ensuring seamless coordination, effective support, and strong alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting broker performance, facilitating sales processes, and ensuring brokers are well‑equipped with product knowledge, tools, and guidance to drive growth within the medical insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with health insurance brokers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for brokers, providing quotation support, resolving queries, and offering guidance on medical insurance products and services.
- Engage in regular communication with brokers to ensure alignment with business goals and identify growth opportunities.
- Deliver product updates, training sessions, and workshops to ensure brokers are well‑versed in medical insurance offerings, policy features, underwriting guidelines, and claims procedures.
- Ensure brokers follow correct procedures for underwriting, policy issuance, and claims management.
- Support brokers throughout the sales process by providing necessary tools, resources, and timely assistance to help close deals effectively.
- Track and maintain accurate records of broker interactions, sales activity, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues that may impact broker performance or service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in medical insurance, preferably in broker relations, account management, or a similar client‑facing role.
- Strong understanding of health insurance products, underwriting processes, and claims procedures.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and engage brokers effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
- Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
