Job DescriptionThe Supply Chain Lead / Manager oversees the end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, logistics, distribution, and inventory control. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality acquisition of materials and services while maintaining compliance with internal standards and global best practices. Key focus areas include supplier development, cost control, product development support, and risk mitigation within automotive upstream accessories and product development.
Duties & Responsibilities- Strategic Planning & Supply Chain Optimization – develop and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report supply‑chain KPIs to improve efficiency and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
- Procurement & Vendor Management – identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; maintain strong relationships.
- Lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Ensure timely procurement of quality materials at optimal cost and monitor supplier SLAs, performance, compliance, and corrective actions.
- Lead supplier development initiatives, including China, Asia, India, and Europe‑based vendors, and conduct factory audits to confirm capability, quality, and compliance.
- Develop overseas supply base and expand the supplier profile for new and existing business.
- Logistics & Distribution – manage inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution; optimize routes, methods, timelines, and costs.
- Demand management and sales forecasting; coordinate supplier production schedules and on‑time customer delivery.
- Inventory Management & Material Audit – maintain accurate inventory levels, implement FIFO/JIT/demand forecasting, and conduct regular audits to ensure stock integrity.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – work closely with Engineering, Design, SCM, Sales, Finance, Quality, R&D, and Production teams; support product development and address customer concerns.
- Compliance, Governance & Risk Management – ensure all activities comply with laws, regulations, and safety standards; identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Reporting & Budgeting – prepare budgets, forecasts, cost analyses, monitor actual vs planned performance, and initiate corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Logistics;
Master’s degree preferred. - Proven experience as a Head of Supply Chain or Supply Chain Manager within OEM automotive product development or accessory divisions.
- Strong SCM & procurement background in automotive components, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Extensive experience managing supply‑chain operations across China, Asia, Europe, and India, including supplier development, factory audits, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong contract negotiation capabilities and vendor performance management.
- Deep understanding of logistics, inventory, and production planning/coordination.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to identify, mitigate, and manage supply‑chain risks in fast‑paced environments.
- Knowledge of product development engineering in the automotive sector to support initiatives.

Minimum of 10+ years in a SCM leadership role in UAE. - Total

15–20 years overall in SCM roles. - Experience with Chinese OEM:
