Key responsibilities for the coordinator include.

Warehouse Operations:

• Supervise day-to-day operations in the furniture department, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Supply Chain Systems:

• Utilize supply chain portals and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor and manage inventory.
• Provide training and support to staff for effective system usage.

Technology Integration:

• Identify and implement technological advancements to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Analyze data and generate insights for performance improvement.

Innovative Problem‑Solving:

• Apply design thinking principles to develop creative solutions for operational challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new workflows and processes.

Distribution and Logistics:

• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture products.
• Monitor and manage shipping schedules to meet customer expectations.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Generate regular reports on inventory, operational efficiency, and departmental performance.

Warehouse HSE and safety compliance and standards are maintained.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Preferably MBA in Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in supply chain portals, warehouse management systems, and ERP software.
• Strong understanding of core supply chain principles, distribution, and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a culture of innovation.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Creative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Preferred skills:
  Warehouse MIS and reporting skills, advanced Excel, Power BI, Python.
