Customer Sales Service Support - MENA
Purpose of the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Sales Service Support to manage end-to-end post-sales operations and ensure seamless contract execution. This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction by effectively coordinating between clients, internal stakeholders, and supply chain partners across the MENA region. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and smooth payment cycles, ultimately supporting business growth within the F&B solutions segment.
Key Responsibilities- Managing sales orders from contract entry until money is collected.
- Raising contracts in SAP/System after booking, obtaining customer PO or signed confirmations, following up on advances when required, maintaining detailed order-wise Excel records, following up with mills on production and execution, checking shipping instructions, checking documents, and sharing the same with customers.
- Following up with clients/shippers to ensure all necessary contract execution information (markings, labels, packaging, etc.) is available.
- Following up with suppliers on shipments to ensure timely performance and highlighting problem areas for intervention.
- Coordinating with manufacturing units to ensure full shipment information availability and sharing with clients.
- Coordinating with shipping lines, transiters, shipping agents, and transshipment port personnel to ensure shipment tracking.
- Coordinating to reconfirm and validate manifest information and ensure timely transshipment of cargo to destination markets.
- Ensuring availability of shipment status information at various delivery stages, including cargo at destination port, aging, and delivery status.
- Communicating with customers and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at operational levels.
- Tabulating shipment information to prepare relevant monthly reports for internal control.
- Handling sampling requirements of clients, dispatching and receiving couriers, etc.
- Assisting with organizing business exhibitions.
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, or logistics operations.
- Experience with in agro-commodities, food trading, or international trade environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of:
- International shipping and logistics processes.
- Export/import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, certificates, customs docs).
- Experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good analytical and numerical capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High learning agility and adaptability.
- English:
Fluent (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Additional certification or training in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or Clearing & Forwarding is an advantage.
