An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician (Painter) to join Jumeirah Al Qasr
. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Review and understand painting-related requests, bring relevant tools to the site, assess required works, and carry out tasks accordingly
• Conduct painting, touch-ups, surface preparation, and routine maintenance to keep hotel areas in good condition
• Respond politely to inquiries, provide painting-related information, and resolve aesthetic or maintenance concerns promptly
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective assignments as directed
• Use proper materials from the engineering store and record all collected items accurately
• Keep logs of all tasks completed, and report damages or issues outside scope to team leaders with recommended solutions

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
