Role
Purpose:
The Kitchen Helper is responsible to properly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pans and pots, and for the smooth flow of the dishwashing machine.
Key Task and Responsibilities:Upkeep of kitchen equipment: Ensures kitchen equipments are kept clean as per the defined cleaning schedules.
Stock Counting & Storage: Assists in stock‑taking, counting and storage as per the Production Checklist.
Participate in Daily Briefing: Attend all briefings and mandated trainings and is open to on‑the‑job learning regarding various production processes.
Operating Knowledge on Tools and Equipment: Knowledge and application on optimal usage of tools, work‑related gadgets and tools used in production such as knives, frier, oven, slicer, blender, and turn‑table.
Teamwork: Works in collaboration with other team members/colleagues.
Workplace Hygiene and Safety: Keeps utensils and work areas clean at the end of the work shift and ready for the next shift.
Experience, Knowledge andSkills:
- Basic command of English language
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
- Knowledge of basic dish washing machine operations
- Excellent level of physical fitness due to all‑day standing and transportation of up to 23 kilos
