. Inter Continental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. • Lead and supervise the Engineering department, ensuring smooth operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, and life safety systems.
• Plan, implement, and monitor the hotel’s preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime.
• Inspect property conditions, mechanical systems, and furnishings to ensure compliance with brand and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring expenditure control and operational efficiency.
• Recommend changes in processes, materials, and equipment, in order to enhance service levels and improve operational efficiency.
• Responsible for maintaining the physical plant and monitoring the operating efficiency of the plant.
• Co-ordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments on preventive maintenance of rooms and other repair work.
• Maintain the complaint management & maintenance request system and ensure timely response to all the complaints and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate repair work, system upgrades, and vendor management for engineering-related projects.
• Maintain accurate SOPs, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation for regulatory and audit standards.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate engineering team members, promoting skill development and succession planning.
• Collaborate with hotel operations and other departments to support seamless day-to-day functioning.
• Manage technical training and emergency readiness programs, including fire safety drills in coordination with the Security team.
• Understand diagrams, drafts, flow-charts, and other information and documentation.
• Drafting & annotation in AutoCAD program.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of engineering leadership experience in hospitality or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and energy efficiency.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in engineering management software and standard computer applications.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• UAE work experience preferred.
