Description
ResponsibilitiesCleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing video equipment prior to assignments.
Monitoring and troubleshooting video systems during shows and resolving technical faults as required.
Building and installing video equipment and systems on site independently, according to the designated layout and technical drawings.
Setting up and operating video systems for small to medium-sized events and productions.
Loading and unloading video equipment safely and efficiently.
Cleaning, packing, and storing video equipment properly after events.
Rigging and de-rigging video equipment safely in accordance with company and safety standards.
Working effectively as part of the production and technical team on and off site.
Reporting all defective or damaged video equipment to the Head of Department.
Providing a high level of technical and operational support to the Head of Department.
Performing annual inventory of all Encore video equipment in line with established procedures.
Maintaining a strong working knowledge of all video department equipment and systems
.Interacting directly with clients on site in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Reporting all health and safety concerns or incidents to the Group HSE Manager.
Respecting and complying with company policies, rules, and procedures.
Carrying out additional tasks within the scope of work as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting video systems for live events (e.g. LED walls, projectors, confidence monitors, switchers).
2-3 years: Hands-on experience in a video technician / AV technician (video) role within events, production, or live shows.
