Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, promoting a clean and healthy environment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering to prevent shortages and maintain operational continuity.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and equipment maintenance to support decision‑making.
- Implement eco‑friendly cleaning practices, promoting sustainability within the organization and reducing environmental impact.
- Lead safety meetings and training, ensuring all cleaning personnel are knowledgeable about safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in various environments, respecting diverse backgrounds and practices.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
- Proven experience in managing teams effectively, with a track record of improving staff performance and morale.
