Day-to-Day Operations
- Perform diving operations in docks at depths of 12-15 meters.
- Collaborate with the Docks and Marine department to place and remove rubber materials on dock blocks during docking and undocking operations.
- Assist the maintenance department with dock gate maintenance tasks as needed.
- Support dock block setters in arranging berthing setups within the docks.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors, and management ensures smooth operations.
- Participate in department-required training programs for various activities.
- Inspect materials to ensure they meet required standards, reporting any damages when necessary.
- Work efficiently within assigned timelines to meet departmental targets.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in all work areas, ensuring proper housekeeping standards.
- Carry out job-related tasks to ensure operational continuity on a day-to-day basis.
- Education: Secondary school education.
- Certification: Commercial diving qualifications from a recognized and reputed diving institute (equivalent to IMCA Class 03 or 02).
- Additional Certification: PADI or BSAC certification with a minimum of 75 dives.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
