Contract Manager

The Contract Manager will support the Contracts function for PV and ESS business units in the Middle East and the region as required. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, qualifying, and negotiating various contractual documents such as framework agreements, sales contracts, general terms & conditions, purchasing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and letters of intent.
The role involves identifying risks and deviations from Sungrow’s contracting principles, obtaining senior management approval when necessary, and preparing contract and risk summaries to ensure project personnel are aware of contractual obligations, risks, and objectives. The Contract Manager will also negotiate to resolve contractual and financial disputes on live projects, consulting with and advising Commercial Managers. Maintaining adherence to policies, processes, and procedures within Sungrow’s business management system is essential.
Qualifications include:
- A degree in Law or a relevant Business-related qualification.
- Experience in PV, Energy Storage, Gas, and/or Construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of Contract Law and legal/contractual drafting skills.
- Experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and translate legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
- Credibility, professionalism, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Native English speaker;
Chinese language skills are an advantage. - Strong planning and organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines.
