Facilities Supervisor
The Facilities Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring an organization's physical environment is well‑maintained, efficient, and conducive to operations. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of building infrastructures, the role ensures all facilities are secure, compliant, and functional. The supervisor manages maintenance staff, coordinates repairs, and oversees improvement projects to enhance the workplace environment. They also handle budget management for facility operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation, and work closely with external vendors and contractors.

- Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all facility infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations consistently.
- Develop and manage facility budgets effectively to maximize resource use.
- Lead and supervise the facilities staff to ensure high productivity levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce costly interventions.
- Negotiate service agreements and manage external service provider contracts.
- Oversee emergency response planning and execution for facility safety.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects within set timelines.
- Maintain detailed facilities records and documentation as required.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand and meet their facility needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and facility operations management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Proficient in facility management software and resource management tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
