- On‑time delivery and adherence to Safety, Quality, Costs, Cash, Delivery (SQCCD) for the Region portfolio.
- Achievement of sales targets for the Region portfolio.
- Margin achievements, margin deviation control, and approvals per Delegation of Authority.
- Cash performance: billing (internal and external), past dues, retentions for the Region portfolio.
- Risk and Opportunities: regular assessment of risks and opportunities, definition of mitigation/action plans and ensuring on‑time completion by the project team.
- Lead the process of Early Warnings & Lessons Learned.
- Project monitoring: participate in high/medium risk project reviews, ensure project execution monitoring and risk escalation.
- Hot Project strategy, customer dispute resolution, and customer claims negotiation – support escalation from project teams.
- Roll‑out of Project Management Org Transformation: cross‑region PM collaboration between Factory PM and Region PM, PM processes (risk assessment, governance, project review templates), and serve as a link between the Central Team and all PM community in the Region.
- Coaching Region and Factory PMs from a dotted‑line perspective to develop appropriate PM competencies across the region.
- Ensure and control the use/compliance of PM processes and tools, leading key PM process transformation initiatives.
- Call for and oversee high‑risk project reviews as needed, including transfer meetings, lessons learned/return‑on‑experience sessions with ITO.
- Oversee execution of action plans issued from project reviews, focusing on risk identification, cash positioning, and crisis management.
- Assist Project Managers in negotiations with partners, contractors, and customers for high‑risk projects.
- Engage directly in crisis situations, drive action plans, meet customers, partners, and contractors, and ensure strong end‑to‑end project life cycle processes from kick‑off to closure, including billing, cash collection, and bond management.
- Ensure enforcement of Contract Management processes in the Region, supported by the Central team.
- Support PMs in preparing and negotiating major variation orders and claims, with advice from Legal and Central Contract Manager advisers when necessary.
- Enforce quality processes and improve actions in the Region, participate in setting and improving tools and processes to enhance GE performance and customer satisfaction.
- Comply with quality procedures, work instructions, and processes in e‑book and on site.
- Performance measurement: contract and budget execution through Region KPIs (EHS, Sales, CCM including margin deviations, Cash, Claims, VO’s, on‑time delivery, COPQ, NCR, punch items, site performance).
- Maintain customer satisfaction, compliance to quality processes and procedures, and safety leadership and performance.
- Engineering or Business Diploma or equivalent education.
- 10+ years of Project Management experience (large projects or portfolios) domestic and/or export.
- Strong business understanding (market knowledge in the area of work, international exposure and awareness).
- Second language, third language appreciated.
- Knowledge of the energy market and its customers.
- PMP certification is a plus.
