Dubai based role
Salary 40-45,000 Dhms per month (Tax free) plus benefits
The Senior Manager – Conferences, Events & Programming is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of high-impact conferences, large-scale events, and year-round programming initiatives. This role combines content strategy, stakeholder management, commercial outcomes, and operational excellence to deliver events that drive engagement, revenue, and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the overall conference and events programming strategy.
- Curate compelling agendas, themes, and speaker line‑ups aligned with market demand.
- Identify new formats, content innovations, and growth opportunities.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of conferences, exhibitions, forums, and special events.
- Ensure events are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage multiple large‑scale events simultaneously.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, speakers, government bodies, industry leaders, and partners.
- Lead negotiations with venues, vendors, production teams, and service providers.
- Act as senior point of contact for high‑profile stakeholders.
- Manage event budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Drive sponsorship, delegate revenue, and partnership value.
- Monitor ROI and post‑event performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and develop conference and programming teams.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, operations, and digital teams.
- Ensure strong collaboration and accountability across functions.
- Work closely with marketing teams to position events and drive attendance.
- Use audience insights, data, and feedback to refine future programming.
- Support content repurposing across digital and media platforms.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or related field
- 8–12+ years’ experience in conferences, events, or large‑scale programming
- Experience working with senior executives, sponsors, and public‑sector or corporate stakeholders
