Position: Global Consulting  Business Operations Manager

Global Advisory – Business Operations Manager

The Global Advisory – Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the global leadership team, including the CEO Office and MD’s Office, to strengthen and expand advisory capabilities worldwide. This role will drive the establishment of a unified global operating model, ensuring seamless coordination, knowledge sharing, and alignment across regions.

As a strategic enabler, the position will foster collaboration with regional advisory leads, build robust operational platforms, and support the development of new service lines and toolkits. The incumbent will also contribute to shaping the future vision for Global Advisory, including defining structures, performance frameworks, and value propositions for teams globally.

Through close partnership with Finance, Marketing & Communications, CEO Office, MD’s Office, and leadership teams, the role will oversee commercial performance tracking, communications, and strategic initiatives such as digital enablement, benchmarking, and the creation of Centres of Excellence. Ultimately, the position will ensure that the Global Advisory function operates efficiently, consistently, and with strong visibility across all markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support global leadership, CEO Office, and MD’s Office to drive growth and build upon an established advisory baseline across all markets and sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with regional advisory leads, ensuring active support for new service offerings.
  • Design and implement a new operating platform for Global Advisory, including credential databases and knowledge-sharing systems.
  • Develop toolkits for regions to launch new services, including methodologies, templates, and example deliverables.
  • Collaborate on defining the vision for Global Advisory, including models for centralized vs. decentralized teams and resource pooling.
  • Conduct benchmarking assessments against leading management consultancies.
  • Design a new employee value proposition for Global Advisory team members, including recognition and reward mechanisms.
  • Partner with Finance and Planning teams to track commercial KPIs and budget performance.
  • Drive the creation of Centres of Excellence (e.g., Economics Advisory, Digital Advisory) and establish supporting platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for digital enablement in proposals and service delivery.
  • Work with Marketing & Communications to produce materials showcasing the Global Advisory value proposition and raise the team’s profile internally and externally.
  • Prepare communication materials for leadership meetings, town halls, and external briefings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related discipline;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in consulting or professional services.
  • Prior experience within a Big Four or leading management consultancy highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in business operations, project management, or PMO functions with cross-regional oversight.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, governance frameworks, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to engage and influence at executive levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Power BI.
  • Ability to operate in a global, fast-paced environment, balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery.
