Factory Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities Production Oversight

• Supervise daily production activities on the factory floor to ensure smooth and timely operations.

• Assign tasks to machine operators, technicians, and laborers and ensure adherence to schedules.

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues with technical teams.

• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

• Monitor production quality and ensure all output meets company standards and customer requirements.

• Enforce adherence to ISO safety and factory compliance standards.

• Work closely with the Quality Control team to resolve any defects or process issues.

• Lead, train, and motivate factory workers to meet productivity and quality goals.

• Monitor staff performance and report issues to Production Manager.

• Conduct daily briefings and provide regular feedback to the team.

• Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow.

• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and material usage.

• Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.

• Ensure compliance with factory safety policies and PPE requirements.

• Report and address safety incidents or potential hazards immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness and order on the production floor.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ERP systems knowledge is an advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• 35 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing or fabrication facility (preferably aluminium/glass industry).

• Strong knowledge of production processes, materials handling, and safety standards.

• Good leadership and team management skills.

• Basic knowledge of machine operations and preventive maintenance.

• Strong communication skills in English (Hindi/Urdu is a plus).
